Description You won’t have to travel to the domain of the Brothers Grimm to enjoy all the deliciousness of the Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest Cherry Gateau.) You’ll create:

A Black Magic sponge cake brushed with Kirschwasser (Cherry Schnapps or Cherry Juice Reduction if you prefer to go booze free)

leveled and torted and filled with a

Boozy (or not) dark Morello Cherry Compote and

covered in a a light Kirsch infused Chantilly Cream filling

delicious Callebaut Dark Chocolate Shards

and topped with

Chocolate dipped fresh cherries

You’ll learn how to create the chocolate ‘Bark’ or shards to adorn the side of your cake to resemble the Black Forrest, too!
